Understanding indoor air quality as Canadian wildfire smoke looms over U.S.

The RESPIRAR team recently published an article in Dialogue & Discourse in response to Canada’s recent wildfire smoke episodes blowing into the United States.

Our analysis of indoor air quality data from farmworker housing sites during the 2023 wildfire smoke crisis reveals that indoor air quality is also at risk.

We originally shared our findings as a blog post in 2024; however, the current political landscape and the ongoing wildfires have prompted us to revisit and contextualize our research.
